Home Price Predictor

Github: https://github.com/Ajinth/Kaggle_Home_Prediction

This project was a part of the Kaggle competition, it focusses on applying machine learning models to predict home price using a variety of features in the dataset. The dataset belongs to City of Ames, IOWA with around 70 original features.

The project delves into the the different facets of a Data Science life cycle like Data Wrangling and Exploratory Data Analysis, basic model building followed up Regularization, GridSearch and Pipelines to further fine tune the models. The details of the project can be found here.
Reddit Data Analysis

Github: https://github.com/Ajinth/Reddit_Post_Analysis

Reddit is an American social news aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website. Registered members submit content to the site such as links, text posts, and images, which are then voted up or down by other members. Posts are organized by subject into boards called "subreddits", which cover a variety of topics including news, science, movies, video games, music, books, fitness, food, and image-sharing.

The project focusses on building a model to predict the score based on the contents of the post. The main focus of the project was to build out a classifier model to classify the post category as a "Tech Support" article v/s a "Non Tech Support" article using classifier models like Logistic Regression and Support Vector machines. The details of the project can be found here.

Data Wrangling with Python and MongoDB

Github: https://github.com/Ajinth/Data_Wrangling_Python

The goal of the project is to extract a particular locality of choice in the Boston area. The extract is in an XML format. This is followed by auditing, cleansing and standardizing the address attributes, followed by loading the cleaned up version of XML into a MongoDB to perform some basic querying and aggregation. The details of the project can be found here.
